Brent The Serialist™ is a contemporary Canadian mixed-media artist known for Serialism, a visual language he created in 2005 that uses repetition, layered imagery, and structured variation to construct complex narrative paintings.
His original artworks and limited-edition prints draw on art history, pop culture, and cultural memory, combining meticulous research with an intricate, labor-intensive process that makes each work visually distinctive and difficult to replicate.
Influenced by artists such as Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, Vincent van Gogh, and Lawren Harris, Brent’s work has been globally exhibited and collected, including two paintings displayed in Tony Hawk’s office and works shown in collaboration with the Van Gogh Gallery in Amsterdam.
The originality of his process, the scarcity of his works, and the growing recognition of Serialism position his paintings as highly collectible contemporary artworks with strong long-term investment potential for serious collectors.
